Dell Chromebook 11 is designed for education purpose. It's scheduled to launch in January 2014. Running on Chrome OS, there are free or affordable applications and productivity tools at Chrome Web Store. The cloud based OS makes it easier for students to access data anywhere and anytime. This Chromebook is equipped with the Intel Celeron 2995U processor, the latest Celeron processor and based on Haswell microarchitecture.


Entry-level version has 2 GB of RAM, while the advanced model has 4 GB. For quick response, it uses an SSD inside, with 16 GB of capacity or larger. The compact and durable laptop brings a 2MP webcam. Ports on Dell Chromebook 11 are an HDMI port that supports up to 1080p, two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 port, a DC-in jack, and an audio combo jack. The notebook dimensions are 11.6 x 7.9 x 0.97 inches, weight is said to be less than 3 lbs. For a Chromebook, this Dell product is very good in terms of security with additional security features including Kensington Security Lock slot, TPM (Trusted Platform Module), and SSL certificates.
