MacBook Pro With Intel Core i7-4950HQ Haswell Processor, 16 GB RAM Spotted on Benchmark Test


After refreshing MacBook Air lineup with 4th generation Intel processors (codenamed Haswell), it’s time for Apple to update its high-end laptop lineup, the MacBook Pro. Recently, a benchmark result of MacBook Pro with Intel Haswell processor spotted at GeekBench. It scored 12, 497 points.


The Haswell processsor used is Intel Core i7-4950HQ clocked at 2.4 GHz. It supports Intel Turbo Boost technology up to 3.6 GHz. The processor has four cores and eight threads. Besides the ultra-fast processor, it’s also known to have 16GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM and run Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks.

The model number of MacBook Pro on that report is AAPLJ45,1. No information what’s the GPU used.
