It's powered by all new powerful AMD Kaveri CPUs with HSA technology: Dual-Core A6 Pro-7050B with integrated Radeon R4, Quad-Core A8 Pro-7150B with integrated Radeon R5, or Quad-Core A10 Pro-7350B with integrated Radeon R6. Those high-end AMD mobile processors support Turbo technology with maximum Turbo frequency of 3.0 GHz, 3.2 GHz, and 3.3 GHz respectively. There's a place for 15.6-inch display panel, it may be an HD or Full HD SVA eDP anti-glare or Full HD touchscreen SVA eDP.
There are various storage options offered by HP. You can select a 7200rpm HDD from 320GB up to 1TB, an SSD from 128GB up to 240GB, a 500GB self-encrypting 7200rpm HDD, or a self-encrypting SSD from 128GB up to 256GB. For system memory, it's equipped with 1600MHz DDR3L SDRAM up to 16GB. This laptop doesn't have integrated optical drive.
Two stereo speakers with DTS Studio Sound deliver high quality audio with crisp detail. This notebook's keyboard is spill-resistant. Furthermore, optional keyboard with backlit is also available that will help you while typing in low-light conditions. So many ports are equipped on Elitebook 755 G2. An AC power jack is used for connecting AC adapter. There are four USB 3.0 totally, one supporting USB charging feature. For connecting to external display, there are a VGA port and a DisplayPort. A stereo audio jack can be used for both headphone and microphone. An RJ-45 port with speed of 10/100/1000 Mbps comes with DASH support. For expansion, there are a docking connector and a side docking connector. Intersetingly, HP doesn't include HDMI port.
Mobile braodband is supported on this Elitebook laptop. You can choose HP hs3110 HSPA+ or HP lt4112 LTE/HSPA+. It also has Broadcom 802.11a/b/g/n or 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN and Bluetooth 4.0 combo. Webcam with dual-microphone array is an optional feature. This notebook also features a 3-cell Li-ion 24 WHr or 50 WHr HP Long Life battery.
Elitebook 755 G2 is also strong and durable. HP uses Total Test Process to ensure it. Another great feature is HP Sure Start, which includes self-healing BIOS, corruption detection, and auto recovery. A lot of security features are also added. In addition to TPM 1.2 Embedded Security Chip, HP also offers optional Smart Card Reader and HP Fingerprint reader. For Windows OS only, there are also some additional featues, listed on the bottom of this post. Non-touch models measure at 2.15 cm and weigh starting at 2.0 kg. Of course the touch models are thicker and heavier. With a thickness of 2.58 cm, the touch models' weight is starting at 2.13 kg.
