Dell Inspiron 15-3531 Specs

Dell Inspiron 15-3531 is a very cheap 15.6-inch laptop. Created with texture lid and palm rest chassis, it's only 1-inch thick and 2.12 kg weight. The processor is only Intel Celeron N2830. Intel Burst technology increases maximum speed to 2.41 GHz. You shouldn't expect much in terms of performance. Display on this Inspiron laptop is 15.6-inch. It uses TreuLife LED backlit technology, with standard resolution, 1366 x 768 pixels. 4 GB DDR3 1600 MHz SDRAM is good enough for its price. For storage, it comes with up to 500 GB SATA hard drive.
Unfortunately, you won't find an integrated optical drive, just air-bay cover only. That's very helpful to reduce production cost for cheaper price. Dual tuned speakers on Inspiron 3531 are enhanced by Waves MaxxAudio, another good feature for this budget laptop. The keyboard, which is equipped with numeric keypad, is spill-resistant. Under the keyboard is a multi-touch gesture touchpad.

Dell removes some ports in order to keep this laptop as cheap as possible. Available ports are only combo headphone / microphone jack, HDMI 1.4a port, two USB 2.0 ports, and power connector. 4-in-1 media card on the front supports SD/SDHC/MS/MS Pro. No VGA port and even RJ45 port is not included. As solution to connect to local networks, there is Dell Wireless 1506 802.11b/g/n (1x1) WLAN. Bluetooth is another missing feature. Dell doesn't forget to place a 720p webcam with microphone. This notebook has a 4 cell 40 WHr cylindrical battery inside.
