ASUS Transformer Book Flip TP300LD is a notebook with 360 degree rotating touchscreen. It means this computer supports various mode. The first mode is laptop mode for maximum productivity. For entertainment such as watching movies, pictures, or videos, you can switch to stand mode. Tent mode is also supported; you can adjust it at any angle for perfect viewing. The other mode is tablet mode which offers better experience for playing touchscreen-optimized games or browsing the web. The display is 13.3-inch diagonal, available in HD or IPS FHD. Touchscreen support makes you more comfortable while using it. Asus claims that the touch precision is above industry standard. Color gamut and accuracy are adjusted automatically thanks to ASUS Splendid technology.
There are three processor choices, they all are ultra low voltage processors based on Haswell microarchitecture. Those processors are i3-4010U, i5-4210U, and i7-4510U. As you know, an Intel HD Graphics 4400 is integrated on each processors. For slightly better graphics performance, Asus combines it with the entry-level NVIDIA GeForce GT 820M equipped with 2GB of DDR3 RAM. It uses DDR3L SDRAM at 1600 MHz with maximum memory of 12 GB. Inside this multi-mode notebook, there is a place for 2.5-inch storage drive with SATA3 interface. It can be a HDD with capacity of 500 GB, 750 GB, or 1 TB; it can be a 128 GB SSD.
ASUS SonicMaster Lite makes audio output significantly better. Enjoy clear, powerful, detailed sound from Flip's speakers while listening to music, watching videos, or playing games. It's also helped by AudioWizard, which has fine-tuned modes. Available ports include an AC adapter plug, an HDMI port, a headphone/microphone combo jack, a USB 3.0 port, and a USB 2.0 port. RJ45 port is not available. But you still can get internet access with 802.11ac or 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, added with Bluetooth 4.0 combo. The 3 cells 50 Whrs Lithium-Polymer battery inside combined with energy-efficient processor is expected to give long battery life. The Transformer Book Flip looks elegant with hairline-textured brushed metal surfaces. Weight of Asus TP300LD is only 1.75 kg.
