Asus has introduced a new computer at Computex 2014 today. The new laptop called Asus GX500 is intended for gaming. This new member in Asus ROG Series boasts a stunning 4K Ultra HD display.

The thickness is only 0.75-inch but the weight is 4.85 lbs because it has advanced features to deliver poerful performance. That's not bad for a gaming machine. GX500's specs are very impressive. In addition to 15.6-inch 4K Ultra HD 3840 x 2160 pixels display, an Intel Core i7 processor is inside this notebook, as well as a mid-range laptop graphics card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M. The display superiority is not only its high resolution, but also a technology called VisualMaster. According to Asus, it can produce 100% NTSC wide color gamut. The company claims it as the first notebook with VisualMaster.

High performance laptop with slim form factor may lead to overheating. Therefore, Asus equips it with dual-fan cooling system to keep heat away. It also features an M2.SSD on a full PCIe x4 connection.

No information about pricing, of course it will vary depend on configurations. It will be available sometime in the third quarter of this year.
