Toshiba KIRAbook 13 i5s-Touch is succesor of KIRAbook 13 i5-Touch. The new Ultrabook brings Haswell-based Intel Core i5-4200U, which leads to longer battery life. It boasts a 13.3-inch multi-touch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (also called as WQHD), resulting pixel density of 221 ppi. The bezel looks slim enough. Corning Concore Glass layer protects the display against accidental scratch. For storage and system memory, no change from its predecessor; 256GB mSATA Solid State Drive and 8GB DDR3L 1600MHz.

To keep it thin and lightweight, Toshiba only includes a few ports; three USB 3.0 ports, an audio combo jack, an HDMI port, and of course a power connector. The HDMI port supports up to 4K UHD resolution. Intel Dual Band Wireless-N 7260 2x2 AC and Bluetooth V4.0 offer fast wireless data transfer. It's also ready for Intel Wireless Display. Users get a frameless LED backlit keyboard for typing and a Clickpad with Windows 8 gestures as pointing device. harman/kardon stereo speakers enhanced by DTS Studio Sound provide high quality audio. Battery life with standard 4-cell Lithium Polymer battery is up to 7.75 hours, that's above average Toshiba laptops. All of those amazing features are packed into a 0.70-inch thick AZ91 magnesium alloy enclosure chassis.
