HP ProBook 455 G1 Specs

HP ProBook 455 G1 is an affordable business laptop that comes with light chassis and durable multi-layer soft touch paint. It's powered by latest AMD A Series APU, A8-5550M, A6-5350M, or A4-5150M. Each processor brings different integrated GPU. There's also an option to add AMD Radeon HD 8750M discrete-class GPU, so it has two switchable GPUs inside.


HDD with capacity from 320 GB to 750 GB will be equipped, only for 500 GB you can select 7200 rpm. HP 3D DriveGuard reduces transmission of shock to the hard drive. In terms of memory, each SODIMM can mount 8192 MB. As there are two SODIMMs, maximum memory is 16384 MB.

Optical drive is optional, this ProBook may come DVD-ROM, DVD+/-RW SuperMulti double layer (found on most nowadays laptops), or even without ODD. Connect to external display with VGA up to 1920 x 1200 @ 75Hz or HDMI up to 1920 x 1080 @ 60Hz. Other ports include a headphone out, a microphone in, two USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, an RJ-45, and a power connector. A card reader slot can be used for SD, SDHC, SDXC, Memory Stick, and MSXC.

The HP keyboard is spill-resistant, while the touchpad supports gestures control. DTS Sound+ increases audio quality. For battery, you can choose between HP 9-cell 93 WHr or 6-cell 47 WHr Lithium-Ion. With AMD switchable graphics technology, battery life with integrated and discrete CPU not too much different. To get extra protection, fingerprint reader is also offered as optional feature.
