HP EliteBook 840 G1 Specs

HP EliteBook 840 G1 is a 14.0-inch slim business notebook series with latest generation Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processors. The anti-glare LED-backlit dipslay has three resolution choices: HD, HD+, or Full HD. The HD+ is also available in touchscreen. Swith to graphics processor, Intel HD Graphics 4400, which is integrated on the processors, is paired with 1 GB GDDR5 AMD Radeon HD 8750M. For storage, it may come with standard HDD/SSD or self encrypting device HDD/SSD.


There are dual stereo speakers, boosted by DTS Studio Sound. Included ports are a stereo headphone/mic jack, a VGA port, a DisplayPort 1.2, a USB 3.0 port, three USB 3.0 ports, an AC power jack, an RJ-45 LAN port, and a side docking connector. 1 Gbps Intel LAN is available. HP offers some options for Bluetooth and WWAN as shown below. Standard battery is 3-cell 24 WHr/50 Whr HP Long Life, with optional secondary 6-cell 60 WHr HP Long Life. EliteBook 840 G1 is only 0.83 inch thick for non-touch models, weight starting at 1.58 kg. Many security features have been added by Hewlett-Packared, some of them are HP Credential Manager, HP Trust Circles, HP File Sanitizer, and HP Drive Encryption.
