HP 2000-2d24dx Specs

HP 2000-2d24dx is a cheap and value for money laptop. Priced slightly above $300, it uses a 2.5 GHz Intel Pentium 2030M as the processor. It packs a standard 15.6 inches HD display with BrightView technology. A 750 GB HDD is quite large for that price. Included system memory is only 4 GB, but it's expandable to 8 GB for faster multitasking performance.

Ports on this HP notebook are three USB 2.0, an HDMI output, a VGA, a headphone jack, a microphone jack, and a LAN connector. Full-size keyboard makes typing comfortable. A touchpad with 2 pick buttons supports multi-gesture input such as scroll, rotoat, and zoom.  The biggest component on the right side is an optical drive supporting CD or DVD burner. 10/100Base-T Ethernet LAN and 802.11b/g/n WLAN are very useful features that enable you to connect to the Internet. On the center above the display, there's an HP TrueVisian HD web camera with integrated digital mic that allows you to perform face-to-face conferencing via internet.
