Toshiba Satellite S55-A5356 is a high performance laptop using Intel Core i7-3630QM quad-core Ivy Bridge processor with HM76 Express as the chipset. It features a standard 15.6-inch HD TruBrite display, 8 GB DDR3 1600 MHz (upgradeable to 16 GB), and 1.0TB HDD.

Carrying an optical drive, it measures at 1.02-inch thick - not bad. To deliver crisp audio, Toshiba equips it with high quality speakers from famous brand harman/kardon. The DVD-SuperMulti drive is located on the left with a USB 2.0, an RJ45, and a power jack.
