Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14 is a dual-mode notebook that you can use in standard mode for maximum productivity and stand mode for better experience while using touch applications. The hinge can flip up to 300 degrees. Flex 14 comes with a 14.0-inch HD or Full HD display supporting 10-point multi-touch and intuitive gestures optimized for Windows 8. The device offers up to 9 hours of battery life thanks to the use of 4th generation ULV processors, i7-4500U, i5-4200U, or i3-4010U, supported by a 4-cell 45 Wh battery.

In terms of storage, it's equipped with up to 1TB HDD, up to 1TB SSHD with 16GB SSD cache, or up to 256GB SSD. It can contain up to 8 GB DDR3L SDRAM. Measures at 0.85-inch thick, the IdeaPad Flex 14 features two USB 2.0 ports, a USB 3.0 port, a VGA port, a LAN port, an audio combo jack, and an HDMI-out port. Stereo speakers combined with Dolby Advanced Audio deliver immersive sound. The AccuType keyboard promises accurate and comfortale typing. There's a multi-touch touchpad with scroll, zoom, and rotate functions. A 0.3 MP or 1.0 MP HD webcam with array microphone is built into the bezel.
