Intel Haswell is the fourth generation Intel Core processor, successor of Ivy Bridge. The number one processor manufacturer for PC and laptop has given additional details about Haswell. It's about the GPU used on the Haswell.
The 4th generation Intel Core processors comes with enhanced graphics with amazing performance. Based on picture above, new or improved features related to graphics are integrated on-package EDRAM memory, DX11.1, OpenGL 4.0 support, 3 screen collage display, enhanced 4K x 2K support, 2 x bandwidth with Display Port 1.2, faster Intel Quick Sync video, fast JPEG decode & faster MPEG Encode, as well as OpenCL 1.2 support.
One of the GPU series will be used on Haswell is Intel Iris, a new series of high-end integrated graphics processors. Not all integrated GPUs inside Haswell processors is an Intel Iris. Iris is only for high-end processors.
Intel promises to boost performance around two times with Iris GPU compared to Ivy Bridge processors and the new chip is expected to compete with NVIDIA GT650M.

Intel also shows a graphics performance comparison of two 4th generation Intel Core processors for Ultrabook, Intel Core i7-4650U and Intel Core i7-4558U, compared to 3rd generation Intel Core i7-3687U. Both of 4th gen processors show significant improvement, especially the Intel Core i7-4558U, which over two times better than i7-3687U on 3Dmark11.
